  1. Thank you for choosing to create your forever keepsake with Forever Stitches 

    Step 1: Choose Your Keepsake Style
    During checkout, you’ll have the option to select any personalisations and accessories via a dropdown box.

    Step 2: Confirmation Email
    Once your purchase is complete and you’ve provided your email address, you’ll receive a confirmation email from foreverstitcheskeepsakes@gmail.com. This email will include the mailing address to send your clothing items to. Please remember to include your full name and order number in/on the package. If you don’t see the email, be sure to check your Spam or Junk folder.

    Step 3: Send Your Clothing Items
    You’ll need to ship your clothing items to me at your own expense. Please ensure all clothing items are washed before sending. If you live outside of NSW and are ordering two or more keepsakes, please include large postage bags with your order. Shipping costs for multiple keepsakes outside of NSW can range up to $30 per bear, so providing these bags helps manage those expenses. The confirmation email will also detail how many items of clothing are needed for your chosen keepsake. Feel free to send extra items if you wish. Any unused items can either be returned to your or donated, please let me know your preference. please ensure items are washed before sending them. 

    Step 4: Crafting Your Keepsake
    Once we receive your items, we’ll begin crafting your keepsake. Our current turnaround time is approximately 2-6 weeks, depending on the type of keepsake and Australia Post.

    Step 5: Receive Your Keepsake
    When your keepsake is complete, we’ll ship it back to you via Australia Post and provide you with a tracking number.

So far, I haven’t come across an item of clothing I cannot use. Some fabrics work better than others however I will back the fabric with a stabilisers. If you have any questions about the items you are sending please contact me. For baby/children clothes the best are – onesies, pyjamas, swaddles/sleep suits, blankets, shirts, pants and swimmers. If you are sending 5 zero or 4 zero clothing, please include 1 swaddle. I can also incorporate smaller items into the keepsakes such as mittens, socks, hats. Please send these as an extra item. For adults the sky is the limit. As these items are bigger, I can use anything and require less items. Some examples are: T-shirts, button up shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, suits, ties, etc.

Please feel free to send more than the minimum required amounts, this is just a guide.

-Bear and lion keepsakes: 12-15 items for baby/children, for adults one or more. It’s up to you how many different items you would like to use.
-Baby quilts – 20- 70 depending on what quilt you order
-Adult quilts – 20 -25 depending on what quilt you order.
-Personalised jumpers. 1-4 items

Yes, you can select the personalisation option in check out. This is where you can place a name, date and place of birth, weight, nickname, quote, or anything you want. I would really suggest placing something inside your keepsake bear or lion. I find this incredibly special. Some examples are crystals, charms, tokens, broaches, letters, ashes, jewellery, a handwritten letter, a photo, the list goes on as long as the item is no more than 4cm.

No sorry, I only take orders and post within Australian and New Zealand. Please note there will be additional costing in shipping completed keepsakes to New Zealand.

If you live outside of NSW and order 2 or more keepsakes, please include large postage bags with your order. It can cost me anywhere from $30 to send keepsakes outside of NSW.

Forever Stitches is unable to provide refunds or returns, as each item is uniquely personalized to your belongings. Planning for your keepsake begins in advance, making refunds impractical. Due to the variations in fabrics, your keepsake may differ slightly from the examples shown on our website and social media. Please keep this in mind when placing your order.
